Colts owner lends a hand to local restaurant
But never one to shy away from a philanthropic endeavor, when Colts owner Jim Irsay got wind of the establishment's financial situation, he did all he could to lend a hand to Collins and Co.
While there's been no word as to how much of the debt Irsay paid off, according to the Indianapolis Star, because of the owner's good deed settlement terms are in the works and talks to reopen the restaurant are also underway.
Irsay had this to say about his gesture:
Randy called me and said."..Got mashed potatoes...can't get no T-Bone!!!.."..so I said we'll float that rent fer a little bit n keep rockin'— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) May 2, 2013
