'The Purge' opens with box office success
The Purge, starring Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey, earned $3.4 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, in terms of presales on Fandango, so far it's the top selling horror movie of 2013.
If you decide to skip it, The Internship, starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, also opens up this weekend.
Sarah Michelle Gellar will be staring alongside Robin Williams in a new comedy called "The Crazy Ones."
Kelly Clarkson, who Gellar's 3-year-old daughter is a big fan of, will be making an appearance on the first episode. But the former Vampire Slayer says she's a big fan of - in fact she's obsessed with - Flo from the Progressive Insurance commercials, and has begged David E. Kelley (writer and producer of the show) to get her on.
The Crazy Ones will premiere this fall on CBS.
