Robin Roberts ready to be back on the set
After getting the green light from her doctors, Robin Roberts has announced that she is ready to head back into the Good Morning America studios. She will begin co-anchoring again on Wednesday, February 20th -- almost six months since her last GMA broadcast and exactly 5 months since her bone marrow transplant. But first Roberts says she'll be "…heading to the beach for the next week to reflect and give thanks for my many blessings."
He knows music, but does he know food? Simon Cowell is getting ready for the premiere of his new culinary competition show in the U.K. His new project titled "Food, Glorious Food!" will travel in search of the best home cooked meal. The victor will have their winning dish sold in supermarkets following the competition. And now FOX, which currently airs his musical competition show, the X Factor, is in talks with Cowell to create and American version of the show to air on the network in 2014.
Whitney Houston passed away the night before the Grammy's last year, and had the academy scrambling to create a last minute tribute. This year they'll be honoring Houston with an hour long special to air Saturday afternoon on CBS -- The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family.
The special will give the audience a behind the scenes look at how the production team found out about the tragic news and the events that followed.
