(AP) - In Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 versions of a story listing key facts about the Connecticut elementary school shooting, The Associated Press reported erroneously that of mass shootings in the past 20 years, only the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings and 2011 Norway massacre had higher death tolls worldwide. A 1996 shooting at a resort in Tasmania, Australia, killed 35 people.
