Maine outfitter a fan of ‘Your LL Bean Boyfriend’

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) – It’s mutual admiration for L.L. Bean and a whimsical Tumblr featuring its handsome male models called “Your LL Bean Boyfriend.”
The website features screen shots of the men along with Maine-centric captions concocted by creator Liz Pride. She’s from Cape Elizabeth and now lives in Philadelphia.
Spokeswoman Carolyn Beem says the site has not gone unnoticed at L.L. Bean headquarters in Freeport. She tells the Portland Press Herald that it’s a “load of fun.”
Pride says that since she’s from Maine, the outdoorsy, rugged men in flannel represent her ideal catch. The site has gone viral, with thousands sharing it via Twitter and Facebook.
