BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) — A Bullhead City jet ski rental business is the victim of vandalism on what is one of its busiest weekends.
The Mohave Daily News reported Friday that Bullhead City police are investigating the vandalism of more than 30 watercraft at Malow’s Jet Ski Rentals on Highway 95.
According to police, the suspects used a knife, box-cutter or other sharp objects to cut up the seats of almost every unit on the lot.
They also filled gas tanks of several watercraft with sand, dirt and rocks.
The break-in and vandalism occurred sometime Thursday morning.
Owner Malow Akbari estimates they caused $80,000 in damage.
Akbari says he will likely have to turn away customers over the Fourth of July weekend.
He says the company has 200 watercraft at other locations.
