Arizona’s monsoon can produce storms that are both destructive and glorious in their beauty.
Lightning that shoots across the skies encompasses each aspect of that.
After a dust storm rolled through parts of town the previous weekend, greater Phoenix enjoyed a light show late Monday, captured by entranced locals and then shared on social media.
Storm enthusiasts likely won’t have much to do this Fourth of July weekend. The Weather Channel was forecasting daytime highs of 108-109 degrees over the Fourth of July weekend with partly cloudy skies. Lows were expected to be 82-87 degrees. Only Sunday had a chance for rain.
