Scottsdale City Council meeting cancelled after city manager collapses

Scottsdale City Manager Fritz Behring collapsed mid city council meeting.

Behring was transported to Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center directly from the Scottsdale City Council meeting, Kelly Corsette with the city of Scottsdale confirmed.

He is in stable condition and will be staying overnight. Corsette said no cause is yet known.

Behring has been Scottsdale City Manager since May 2013.

The meeting was cancelled with the regular meeting agenda to be continued tomorrow night.
