PHOENIX — Baseball fans: Grab your bats, your wallets and step up to the plate.
Former Los Angeles Angels and Detroit Tigers infielder Damion Easley has put his custom-built, $5.5 million mansion on the market, according to the LA Times.
Easley, who played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2006, earned All-Star honors in 1998 while with the Tigers. He is a minor league assistant coach for the Peoria Padres.
Built in 2005, the property boasts six bedrooms and 8.5 baths as well as a contemporary baseball feel with field-themed showers, a scoreboard mural, a trophy gallery and an indoor batting cage.
For those who do not have the necessary trophies to fill an entire gallery, the house also offers other amenities, such as a dual-island kitchen, a home theater (with a karaoke stage) and an upper-level entertainment area, complete with a game room and a wet bar.
If you get tired existing within a mere 14,731 square feet of living space, go outside and frolic around in the nearly two-acre outdoor area.
Practice your swings at either a Wiffle ball field or a putting green, perfect that layup on your personal sports court, tire out the kids — and yourself — with a sunken trampoline and end your day at the lagoon-style pool and spa, which would not be complete without a water slide.
So live like an All-Star, get your game on and go play!
