PHOENIX — A jury again failed Thursday to reach a verdict in the Jodi Arias penalty phase retrial, meaning she will spend life in prison, pending a parole decision from Judge Sherry Stephens.
As soon as the verdict was read, the Twitterverse exploded with instant reactions to the second mistrial.
“Travis' sister walking outside the courthouse told a group of people “the real justice will be in the afterlife” for Jodi Arias.#jodiarias

Gaydos – It's too bad #JodiArias will live. Mistrial. Hung jury. She doesn't deserve it. Sad for the Travis Alexander family.

That was rough…doesn't seem like anyone except arias and fam liked how that went down. No even the jury. #JodiArias

Jodi Arias can slaughter a man, but there's still a hung jury? This trial has been a hot mess since it began. Unbelievable. #jodiarias
