Burglary suspect search puts Gilbert schools on lockdown

PHOENIX — Three Gilbert, Arizona schools were placed on lockdown Tuesday while police searched for a burglary suspect.
Police were looking in the area of Elliot and Greenfield roads. Greenfield Junior High School, Greenfield Elementary School, Gilbert Classical School and Christ’s Greenfield Lutheran School were all on modified lockdown.
We are looking for a Hispanic male 5ft10, 250, wearing red shirt, blk pants, blk hat. Call us if you spot him near Grnfld/Elliot.

The lockdown was lifted about 3:15 p.m.
