Tipsy Tow available in Arizona during Super Bowl

PHOENIX — Super Bowl parties are about good times, but AAA Arizona wants to remind people that those good times come with responsibility.
Arizona football fans are getting a home-field advantage when it comes to the Super Bowl and all the events that surround it. Stephanie Moe with AAA Arizona said people should remember to plan ahead.
Moe said that means designating a driver or having taxi company phone numbers or rideshare apps readily available.
However, if plans do still fall through, Moe said AAA’s Tipsy Tow would be on duty, just call 1-800-AAA-Help.
“It’s a free tow for you, your vehicle and up to one passenger,” she said. “We’ll tow you 10 miles to your house or to a hotel — only if you plan to become a guest.”
She said the service was applicable statewide and open to nonclub member, too, and that the tow was not to be used as a primary ride home.
Service starts at 6 p.m. on Sunday and will run through 6 a.m. Monday.
