Rudeness will not be tolerated by U.S. Sen. John McCain.
Arizona’s senior statesman opened a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing Thursday morning with a stern warning to a small group of dissenters, calling them “scum” for verbally attacking longtime diplomat Henry Kissinger.
After the protesters had been chanting for a minute or so, McCain said they’d have to shut up or they’d be arrested. As they were led out the room, he really let loose, referring to the group as “low-life scum.”
Wow. And they didn’t even leave empty beer cans or cigarette burns all over the furniture.
The fun starts around the 1:35 mark.
The subject of the meeting? National security strategy.
