Arizona mother accuses school principal of attacking her child

PHOENIX — An Arizona principal could face abuse and assault charges after the mother of a special-needs student accused the man of shoving her son into a table.
According to a local TV news report, police in Superior said the mother called them about the episode last week at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
The boy told his mother and an officer that his head hit the table during the incident. Police are investigating.
O’Donnell has been placed on paid administrative leave.
