PHOENIX — Arizona Gov.-elect Doug Ducey said his transition team is continuing to search for the best people for his upcoming administration.
Ducey said the transition team headed by former Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl is working hard to find the right staff members.
“We’re reaching out, I think, to the broadest, brightest, and best people possible,” he said. “That’s part of the work of transition is deciding who is going to sit where.”
Ducey has set up a website where people can apply for jobs in his administration. He’s also reaching out to some of the people who opposed him in the race for governor, though he didn’t provide names.
“All are going to be welcome in terms of a way to advocate on behalf of the state and help present the state, upon inauguration,” he said.
Ducey said he expects to announce his staff members by the time he presents his state budget on Jan. 16.
