PHOENIX — Gasoline prices in Arizona took another drop this week, just in time for holiday road trips.
Drivers were paying an average of $2.78 a gallon at the pumps, about 6 cents lower than
last week, Triple-A Arizona said. Prices haven’t been this low in the state since March 2010, Triple-A Arizona said Thursday.
Arizona’s number were also below the national average of $2.85.
Triple-A analysts said prices should remain low through Thanksgiving.
Peoria had Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $2.65 a gallon and
Flagstaff the highest at $3.08. Gas in East Valley cities averaged $2.67. Phoenix averaged $2.71.
