PHOENIX — If “Home Alone,” pizza and weird music is your thing, we’ve got good news: Macaulay Culkin’s pizza cover band is scheduled to be in the Valley on Wednesday.
The band, Pizza Underground, covers Velvet Underground songs but inserts pizza-themed lyrics. Really.
Culkin’s band is touring with Har Mar Superstar, who has appeared on several late-night talk shows. He’s also appeared in a couple films.
Culkin [told Har Mar Superstar’s website], “I don’t normally go to concerts, but if I did I’d go to this one.”
Another false report issued over the weekend said Culkin died, but he assured fans he, and his band, are very much alive. Pizza Underground and Har Mar Superstar take the stage at 8 p.m. at the Rhythm Room. Tickets start at $12.
