Federal agents arrested a man at the Arizona-Mexico border this week and charged with the attempted smuggling of over 3,330 pounds of marijuana.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said an inspection of a tractor-trailer rig in Nogales, Arizona, uncovered 145 bales of marijuana hidden behind a false wall. Value of Tuesday’s haul was estimated at $1.67 million.
The 24-year-old driver was handed over to Homeland Security Investigations.
