The Glendale Police Department reported Saturday evening that 14-year-old Peoria resident Amber Paulter, who was reported missing on Friday, has been located.
The department was contacted at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday from an out-of-state acquaintance with information that Paulter was unharmed.
“Amber is safe and unharmed and at this time appears to have left the area voluntarily,” the police report stated.
“Because the exact details are very preliminary and Amber has yet to be reunited with her family, we will not be disclosing the exact location that she was found at this time. Doing so may jeopardize her being safely reunited with her family.”
Paulter was reported missing at about 7:00 p.m. on Friday after she left a friend’s house near the 7000 block of West Hillcrest Boulevard.
