PHOENIX — If you’re waiting in line at University of Phoenix Stadium this season craving an ice cold beer, keep in mind you’re getting a pretty decent deal.
According to a report done by BusinessInsider.com, the Arizona Cardinals’ beer prices — based on the cost of a small beverage — is cheaper than the league average.
The study found that the average price for a ‘small’ beer this season is $7.53, with the Cardinals’ price coming in slightly below that at $7.25.
It should be noted, however, that several NFL teams list 14, 16 and 20-ounce beers as their small beverage.
With that in mind, BusinessInsider.com noted that the Cincinnati Bengals — 14-ounce beer for $5 — have the best bang for the buck.
As it relates to other NFC West teams, though, the Cardinals small offer is the second cheapest in the division behind the St. Louis Rams (12-ounce beer for $4.50).
In fact, the cost of a small beer at the San Francisco 49ers’ new Levi Stadium comes in at the hefty price of $10.25 — second-highest in the league.
