PHOENIX -- A new sentencing date has been set for a former NBA All-Star who had pleaded guilty in the summer to theft and forgery charges.
Chris Gatling is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 13 in Maricopa County Superior Court.
Authorities said Gatling squatted at a Paradise Valley home and then tried to list the house for rent online.
Gatling was accused of breaking in the home and living there for about a year.
Police said the owners lived in California but had left the power on at the Arizona house.
Gatling averaged 10.3 points in 11 seasons with Golden State, Miami, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Denver and Cleveland.
He pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of forgery in early August.
