PHOENIX — A woman has died and a handful of other people, including her family, were injured in a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday in north central Phoenix.
Police shut down Seventh Street at Northern Avenue in all directions for several hours to investigate what caused the collision between her car and a truck.
The woman, 30, ran a red light, said police. Passengers were her boyfriend and their children, 4 and 3. Each had been strapped into a car seat. The truck was driven by an adult male.
All the survivors were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
