More travelers with pets could mean change for hotels

PHOENIX — More travelers are bringing their dogs on trips.

According to Phoenix Business Journal, at least one out of four travelers are bringing their dogs along on vacation.

While many people try to avoid bringing their canines because of boarding complications, hotels may change their policies on animals.

As hotels and resorts become more pet-friendly, that could lead to more competition and different kinds of advertising in the pet department when it comes to hotels, resorts and vacation spots.
