Looking for something to do this Saturday? Why not check out the Tale of Two Cities Parade & Festival?

According to City of Avondale spokeswoman Ingrid A. Melle ,the parade will begin at 10 a.m. The festival, which will have food, music, booths, dance and cultural education all provided by for free by Estrella Mountain Community College, starts immediately after the conclusion of the parade.

This year's theme is international celebration and is aimed at cultural diversity. As part of the festivities, there will also be a naturalization ceremony where citizens can take an oath of allegiance.

The festival goes from 10 a.m to 3 p.m at Estrella Mountain Community College in Glendale in Avondale.
