Collapsed ceiling at Phoenix College (Phoenix Police Department photo)

A ceiling collapsed at Phoenix College Tuesday.

Phoenix Fire Captain Tony Mures said it happened on the second floor outdoor walk way of building H on the north side of the campus.

"The ceiling that holds the lights came falling down its kind of hinged. Part of it came down and kind of a ripple effect the full length of the building. Students were inside it didn't fall to the ground its just leaning down on the hand rail of the building."

All the students were able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
