SCOTTSDALE -- Police say a bouncer who was stabbed a week ago at a Scottsdale nightclub has died.

Scottsdale police said Tyrice Thompson died Saturday morning from the stab wounds.

According to investigators, the 27-year-old Thompson of Laveen was stabbed five times in the back, hip, and arm after an altercation inside the club early morning on Jan. 27.

Police later arrested 26-year-old Ian MacDonald of Tempe in connection with the stabbing. Investigators say he admitted that he was involved in the fight but denied stabbing Thompson.

It was unclear if MacDonald had an attorney.

    Was a planned event by the Obama admin as was Gabby Giffords, the Klackamas mall, Colorado Theater shooting, all were planned events to push Obama's agenda. There will be more until he gets a complete ban on all weapons and confiscates everybody's guns.

    are you on crack? this knife bearer killed ONE... if he had a gun, there in the club he could have taken out a good 20 or 30 people.

    criminal that was abiding by the laws that prevent him from owning a firearm, therefore, he had to resort to using a knife...see the laws do work....

    night club would be helpful. But that would require thorough and decent reporting from KTAR and that would be a stretch
