LEUPP, Ariz. -- The Navajo Nation is looking to fill 800 jobs at its newest casino opening this year near Flagstaff.

A job fair is being held Friday through Sunday in Flagstaff to fill accounting, human resources, marketing, hotel administration, food and beverage, training and other positions. Drug screening and background checks are being done on site, and candidates could be offered a job on the spot.

Navajos will be given preference for employment.

The $150 million Twin Arrows casino along Interstate 40 will have a hotel, conference center, spa and golf course. It is scheduled to open in mid-May.

The Navajo Nation operates three casinos in New Mexico. The Twin Arrows casino will be the first on the Arizona portion of the reservation.

    Glendale look!
If the City of Glendale would open there eyes they would see a Casino would bring jobs! The people getting these new jobs would spend money in the area and therfore bring in tax dollsrs to the comunity. The City of Scottsdale has new ball feilds and money given to the school districts from the casinos in the East Valley. Just build the casino and help the troubled west valley!!!!

Just the place you want to work. The Navajo Nation is well known for blatant racial discrimination. Go for it Non-Native Americans, if you want to know what it feels like to work for a people who really does discriminate based on race. They get away with it because they are their own nation and have their own laws. And they don't care what you think...
