An electric company is giving back to the community.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Salt River Project gave solar power systems to four non-profit organizations.

The funding for this comes from the EarthWise Energy program, which is designed to make renewable energy more accessible at lower costs.

The organizations that will receive the systems are Thunderbirds Branch in Guadalupe, the Child Crisis Center in Mesa, the Chrysalis Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence in Phoenix and the Phoenix Zoo.

The winners of the systems were voted for by SRP customers.
