PHOENIX -- Tech workers and would-be workers in the Valley can rejoice: Phoenix is one of seven cities that has experienced double-digit salary increases in that industry.
A Dice.com salary survey lists Phoenix as fourth in terms of growth in tech salaries with a 12 percent jump for an average of $83,000.
Pittsburgh led in growth at 18 percent. Those workers make an average of $76,207. San Diego was next with a 13 percent hike to $97,328.
Silicon Valley in California remains the sole market where tech experts average in six figures, just over $100,000.
