Loop 101 accident shuts down U.S. Route 60 exit ramps

A major accident Sunday afternoon southbound on the Loop 101 Price Freeway, has closed exit ramps 55A and 55B.
The exit ramps lead east and west on to U.S. route 60 and are expected to be closed between 4:16 and 5:15 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
According to KTAR's Carter Nacke, the Loop 101 is currently backed up going southbound, although emergency crews have made it to the scene of the accident.
