PHOENIX -- Starting in 2014 Midwestern University in Glendale will expand to include a veterinary school.

Midwestern will invest over $100 million toward the construction of the college, which will have its first class of 100 students next year.

Arizona House Speaker Andrew Tobin explained that the school will "yield long-lasting economic benefits and job growth that will be vital to our state's economy."
