Tent City inmates will be dealing with the area's coldest temperatures since 1988.

According to a release from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the inmates will have access to a heated day room and hot chicken broth to keep warm.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio's news brief intended reassure the inmate's family and friends that they will be taken care of in spite of the weather conditions.
