KINGMAN, Ariz. -- Mohave County sheriff's officials are trying to identify a man whose burned body was found next to Interstate 40 in the Kingman area.

The Daily Miner reported that the body was found Monday on the south side of the interstate and that a gas can was nearby.

Sheriff's officials said the man is believed to be African-American and in his mid-20s to mid-30s.

He had a beard and mustache as well as a large tattoo on his chest with the words "the truth hurts" underneath.

He was wearing a long-sleeved blue denim shirt, black pants and black lace-up dress shoes.
