Highway near Prescott reopens after rockslide
PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- A highway in northern Arizona that was closed for several days because of a rockslide has been reopened.
Yavapai County authorities said Thursday that all debris from the rockslide on a section of the Senator Highway has been cleared in both directions.
Senator Highway runs south from Prescott through the community of Groom Creek to Crown King.
County officials closed a section of the highway on Dec. 31 because of the rockslide and icy conditions on the narrow road.
