A Mesa boy was hospitalized Wednesday after he fell out of a second-story window, the Mesa Fire Department said.

The 4-year-old boy apparently fell while he was playing on a bed near the window, which was left open.

The boy fell into a shed and then landed on concrete. He did not appear to be injured, but was transported to Cardon Children's Medical Center as a precaution.

He is expected to be fine.

ban all second story windows so this type of thing never happens again. It's completely the windows fault and all windows should be banned.

You must not have thought your post through to its logical conclusion. The appropriate action to take is to simply ban humans. If this is done, there will be no problems to discuss.

Actually, isn't it the builders fault for installing windows on the 2nd floor. I feel a lawsuit coming on. :) I am glad the child is o.k.

    Oh so lets
sue the builder first, ban windows and then ban humans (there are people on the left that actually want to do this one).
