Portillo's secures land for second location

A Chicago-based hot dog restaurant has secured land in Tempe to open a second locations.
According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the second Portillo's in the Valley is slated to open this summer at Tempe Marketplace.
The 7,000-square-foot location will sit on a 2.38-acre parcel.
Portillo's also has a location in Scottsdale slated to topen in February.
In addition to the Scottsdale and Tempe locations, Portillo's told the Phoenix Business Journal this past summer that it also is scouting locations in Chandler.
There are 35 Portillo's locations nationwide.
