Casa Grande man arrested on drug, firearms charges
FLORENCE, Ariz. -- A Casa Grande man is in custody after Pinal County authorities say they seized guns and marijuana from his vehicle.
County Sheriff's officials say 19-year-old Anthony Lara is being held on suspicion of possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony offense.
They say he's also facing charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession plus possession of a stolen firearm and being a person under age 21 with a firearm in a vehicle.
Sheriff's deputies assisted the Tohono O'Odham Police Department with a shots fired call Monday night and that led to Lara's arrest.
Authorities searched his vehicle and reported finding a loaded Glock 17 handgun, a stolen Smith and Wesson .38 caliber handgun, a .357 caliber handgun, seven glass jars containing hydroponic marijuana and smoking pipes.
