The coolest building in Arizona is going to be 420-feet high if a local developer and a Danish architecture firm have their way.

The proposed observation tower would sit at Sixth and Adams streets. Phoenix real estate developer Novawest owns the property where Bjarke Ingels Group's handiwork, named the Pin, would sit.

Plans call for glass elevators, shops, restaurants and an open-air, spiral-designed observation for 360-degree views of the Valley.

No date when the project would get under way has been released.

According to Wikipedia, the tallest building in the state is the Chase Tower in downtown Phoenix. It stands 483 feet high with 40 floors. The tallest building in Tucson is One South Church at 330 feet.
