PHOENIX -- One of three men accused in a string of fast-food restaurant robberies in the Phoenix metropolitan area has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Maricopa County prosecutors say Christopher Kimball was sentenced Wednesday to three concurrent 4-year prison terms. He pleaded guilty to four counts of armed robbery in September.

Prosecutors say Kimball will be sentenced on the remaining armed robbery count after the trial of a co-defendant is completed this spring.

They say Kimball and two other Phoenix men were dubbed the ``Fast Food Bandits'' after seven known robberies of fast-food restaurants between September and November 2011.

The three suspects were arrested in January.

Authorities accused Kimball of being involved in two of the robberies. The third suspect already has pleaded guilty to three counts of armed robbery.
