Glendale introduces electronics recycling center

The City of Glendale has opened a new electronics cycling center just in time for the holidays — and everyone tossing out old electronics in favor of new ones.
Deb Coy, with the City of Glendale, said the new program is a perfect for getting rid of old junk.
“This is a great opportunity to get all of those items out of the house and wishing for a nice clean house for the new year,” she said.
The program will take just about every electronic device, including cell phones, TVs and computers.
The drop-off site is at the Glendale landfill located near Glendale Ave. and El Mirage Rd. Electronics are accepted Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
