Arizona skiers, rejoice. The state's ski season officially begins this week.
In a Facebook post, Sunrise Park Resort, near Pinetop-Lakeside said one of its mountains, Sunrise Mountain, will open Wednesday at 9 a.m.
The other two mountains, Apache and Cyclone, are expected to open on Friday. The resort is expected to get more snow this week.
Arizona's other ski resort, Arizona Snowbowl near Flagstaff, said in a Facebook post that it would open Thursday at 9 a.m.
