LAVEEN -- Investigators with the Maricopa County Sherriff's Office have identified a man who was shot and killed at a trailer park in Laveen.

They believe 51-year-old Daniel Morales was shot during an altercation Tuesday. They declined to release any details about what may have sparked the altercation.

Sheriff's spokesman Chris Hegstrom says the shooting remains under investigation.

Residents at the Southern Meadows Trailer Park tell television station KSAZ they weren't surprised by the shooting. They say Southern Meadows is not a quiet place to live and that violence is a normal occurrence at the trailer park.
