SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A 37-year-old woman is recovering from a car accident and emergency surgery to deliver her baby Monday night.

Two children in the car are in serious condition. The woman, in a passenger seat, was throw from the Honda sedan, according to Scottsdale police, after the car was T-boned by another vehicle at Hayden Road and Roosevelt Street. A team of 30 firefighters and Scottsdale police responded.

The other occupants of the Honda, six minors, including the 16-year-old driver, were taken to a local hospital.

Doctors said mother and baby, delivered via Caesarean section, are in good condition.

The accident remains under investigation.

    It was reported on the morning show that the driver of the vehicle that had the female who was pregnant, was her 16 yr old son. I give this through Tuesday's show before Gaydos opens his mouth and inserts both of his feet about how a 16 yr old should not be driving with other minors in the car. I hope I am wrong......

    This is why 16 year olds should not be driving. They should raise the age to 18 or even better, 21.

    funny, age 21. If you want to give driver licenses according to maturity level (I assume from your comment) AZgypsy, there's a lot of adults that would never get theirs, I could be one of them depending on who you give the power to be that judge of maturity.
