Woman survives Scottsdale car crash, delivers baby
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A 37-year-old woman is recovering from a car accident and emergency surgery to deliver her baby Monday night.
Two children in the car are in serious condition. The woman, in a passenger seat, was throw from the Honda sedan, according to Scottsdale police, after the car was T-boned by another vehicle at Hayden Road and Roosevelt Street. A team of 30 firefighters and Scottsdale police responded.
The other occupants of the Honda, six minors, including the 16-year-old driver, were taken to a local hospital.
Doctors said mother and baby, delivered via Caesarean section, are in good condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
