PHOENIX -- Authorities say a teenage girl burned in a suspicious house fire in Phoenix has died.

Phoenix Fire Department officials say the 13-year-old victim was found in cardiac arrest with burns on her arms and legs Thursday morning.

They say she was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition and died Thursday afternoon.

Phoenix police identified the victim as Briana Naylor.

The cause of the blaze is unclear and Phoenix Fire arson investigators have been called in.

The girl was the only person inside the home when firefighters arrived. Authorities still are trying to locate her guardians.

Fire officials say it's unclear if there were any smoke detectors in the home or if they were in working order.
