PHOENIX -- Two teenagers were hit by a car Tuesday morning near Sandra Day O'Connor High School. The boy and girl were taken to a local hospital.
The accident occurred near 36th Avenue and Hackamore Drive. The boy, 17, was flown to a trauma center, while the girl, also 17, was transported by ambulance.
The injuries were not life-threatening, according to authorities.
