DPS: One dead in Casa Grande three-vehicle collision

A crash involving a tour bus, a semi truck and a pickup truck turned fatal.
The crash happened at 2:15 p.m. when a pickup truck was traveling eastbound in westbound lanes of the Interstate 10 near the Interstate 8 transition around Casa Grande. The truck collided head-on with a charter bus.
One person is dead, nine are injured, including two people who are in critical condition.
"The driver of the pickup truck is deceased. The driver of the tour bus is critically injured, as well as one other passenger," Carrick Cook with the DPS said.
Authorities have identified the pickup driver as 78-year-old Francis Wilkens Gibson Jr., of Casa Grande.
"We do know we got calls of a wrong way driver," Bart Graves with DPS said. "We were sending units to the scene when this occurred."
Graves says the TBC Conexion bus was traveling from Mexico to Phoenix with 16 people aboard, including the driver.
Authorities none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
