A Mesa woman brought an end to an argument with her husband over his not voting by running him down in a Jeep.

Holly Solomon, 28, was charged by Gilbert Police with aggravated assault Saturday. Her husband, Daniel Solomon, 36, is in critical condition at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center.

The argument began in a parking lot at North Gilbert Road and Vaughn Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing yelling before Holly Solomon got into a Jeep and began chasing her husband around the lot, all the while yelling at him.

Daniel Solomon claimed his wife believes their family will now face hardship due to the re-election of President Barack Obama.

Daniel Solomon tried to run to Gilbert Road, but she caught up to him, hit him and pinned him underneath the vehicle and against a curb.

Police said Holly Solomon did not appear impaired.

    Rush, Fox News, Savage, Beck, Hannity, Levin - they incite these crazy people with their loud-mouthed ridiculous rants and convince them that the Sky Is Falling! It's like a type of psychological warfare heard about in foreign prisons where loud music or fearful declarations are loudly played non-stop. Hate speech is a type of bullying, mind-bending harassment that is threatening and abusive for emotionally distressed people.

    most people will and not even realize it. Obama sold lots of people on spending 6 trillion as being balanced. I work with people who think the national debt is lower because of Obama. lol vote vote vote it is your fault if you dont vote.

    I think there is a lot of emotion over Obama's re-election. It seems like he wants to tax the wealthy until they are middle class, and give benefits to the poor until they become middle class. That way everyone is the same, the government can run everything, and we begin to resemble Europe. It is getting easier and easier to picture Americans clocking in and out of a big , gray , government-run factory, giving everyone a job. But no matter how you feel, do not take it out on another person..... we are all in the same boat.

    Tax the wealthy until "they're Middle Class"? That's a bit extreme. Our tax rates are extremely low. You know your taxes have gone down, correct? The tax rates we had prior to President Bush were not a hardship. Raising taxes on high income earners to gain some revenue is supported by the majority of Americans. Even Bill Kristol, prominent conservative, thinks it should be done since, as he put it, half the wealthy voted for Obama anyway.

    it's not just Rush, Fox News etc, you can inlude some of KTAR's genius hosts. The sky is always falling. Jared Loughner wasn't a lesson enough. Too bad we can't hold the "talk show guru's" accountable.

    If this is one of the few women who voted for Mitt, we really need to take a look at our recruiting procedures. For that matter, funding the education system too, so that people like her will understand that since AZ went to Romney anyway, her husbands vote wouldn't matter...
