PHOENIX -- Authorities say two men are in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a Phoenix woman last week.

Phoenix police say 20-year-old William Arthur Wright was arrested Thursday. He's being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, theft, burglary and a weapons violation.

They say 50-year-old Ernest McAllum was arrested Nov. 2 and remains jailed on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Police say 32-year-old Bethany Lewin was shot in the head at her home on Nov. 1.

Investigators believe Wright and McAllum planned to rob Lewin and both men knew the woman.

Police say it's still unclear why they allegedly wanted to kill her.

Authorities said they didn't immediately know Friday whether Wright or McAllum had lawyers.
