A man wearing a clown mask robbed a Surprise Carl's Jr. on Nov 3., the Surprise Police Department said in a press release.

The suspect entered the restaurant, located at 13350 W. Grand Ave., about 11:30 p.m. He approached staff members immediately and demanded money.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the area on foot.

The suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants a white-faced clown mask with red and black "hair" and white gloves.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call SPD at (623)222-4000 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS.
