Wreck, gas leak closes Scottsdale intersection

A gas leak caused by a traffic accident has closed 90th Street and Via Linda in Scottsdale.
The intersection is closed in all directions, according to city officials.
An elderly man driving a Lincoln hit a transformer and a gas line at the southeast corner of the intersection. He was uninjured.
Utility companies are working on the damage and police also are on scene.
The streets are expected to be closed for at least a few hours.
